Berkeley Auto Repair

Took my treasured 2001 XJ Cherokee in for front end review after visiting 2 other shops who gave me questionable diagnostics (I am familiar with the mechanicals on the car). A trusted friend said only Oceanworks . They were accurate, and expedient with the work. Very professional all around, so it goes back next week for another bigger fix and Im confident and comfortable in doing so.

They charge so much for a standard inspection

Always a good experience dealing with this shop - they've services my vehicles for over twenty years - never a problem.

Very thorough inspection. Kept me informed of recommended repairs and estimated cost. Excellent service/adjustment/repair work.

The team at Oceanworks thoroughly evaluated my car. They steered me to the dealer to investigate warranty coverage of the problem , even though this would lose them income. The honesty and accuracy was wonderful!

I needed some long overdue, rather extensive, maintenance and repair work done on my beloved 1989 Toyota pickup. Oceanworks did a very thorough inspection and a brilliant job of fixing all that ailed her. I am very grateful.

Got out of ten year storage back on the road tank vents fixed

Nice folks, very capable and always on time.

This shop is so outstanding. Oceanworks - can build you a Toyota Truck, Work on a Lotus, fix your Nissan, repair your Chevy Spark. Brian has experience working on Porsche, Ferrari and other high end brands. So if you need some work done to those cars - it's a very reasonable shop rate vs the dealer's rate. I have yet to find something they can not fix, diagnose, or repair. So glad I found this shop. I recommend this repair shop to friends, and family whenever they ask for a mechanic. Every time I go there, I know I'm getting the work done right and they can repair anything.

I have two older cars, a 2002 Toyota MR2 and a 2010 Scion xB. I was referred to Oceanworks a few years ago after my local mechanic closed his shop. I am very pleased with the skill, thoroughness, honesty and integrity of this shop and their staff. I take good care of my vehicles and value the service and recommendations Oceanworks has given me since they have taken over maintenance of my cars. I have referred friends who feel similarly to me. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone.
